Abhilasha

"The multiple roles that women can play in a society if given the opportunity is really a tremendous asset," by Marget Chan. Abhilasha Dwivedi seized her opportunity and now stands as a tutor, podcaster, and YouTuber based in Pune, India. She has made it her mission to learn and educate others around her. Each path she has taken comes with new responsibilities and aspirations.

As a self-employed tutor, she puts extensive effort into establishing a concrete understanding of various subjects within her students. "The best part of tutoring is connecting with all types of students and watching them reach their full potential using different approaches."

After working diligently to receive both a bachelor's and master's degree, Abhilasha began teaching online science classes worldwide while continuing to stay home and care for her family. Alongside her tutoring job, Abhilasha regularly uploads YouTube videos and podcast episodes, ultimately learning the importance of time management and keeping to a schedule.

Like the three supporting bases of her camera's tripod, Abhilasha considers her family to be her own supportive pillar. Like many mothers, Abhilasha's primary joy is derived from her two children, who have played a crucial role in achieving her dreams. Her son, for example, assists her in producing her podcast and YouTube content. Passionate about singing and playing the keyboard, Abhilasha's daughter is an exceptional musician. At a young age, however, she was diagnosed with autism, posing initially as a challenge for Abhilasha and her family. From this experience, however, Abhilasha transformed her persistence into a powerful initiative. Not only was Abhilasha motivated by her daughter's strength to succeed in her career, but she was inspired to fight the stigma in India regarding neurodivergence. "We don't want empathy or sympathy; we just want understanding and acknowledgment." The struggle and resilience of Dwivedi's daughter led to the initiation of her podcast, "The Special Hero." By providing an empathetic environment for parents of special needs children, Abhilasha was able to take part in the destigmatization of autism in India. Parents could resonate with the issues detailed in this podcast, allowing them to be vulnerable about a topic they had placed a curtain in front of.

Abhilasha breaks down the complexity of NASA, Aurora Borealis, and even Black Holes in a separate podcast called "Knowing Universe," allowing listeners to find a passion in these otherwise bewildering topics. After all, Abhilasha had been a lover of science and combined this with her passion for education.

Through her career and after countless discoveries, Abhilasha proved herself to be an open-minded individual. She puts her heart into everything she does, excelling with time management and having a passion for her commitments. Abhilasha emphasizes that to succeed, you must work hard and never underestimate the power of consistent effort. When asked about her advice for young people, she says, "Time is going to be tough, but you will last," and adds, "You will become the person you love to be."
